More about Mathew
Mathew resides in the Pacific Northwest of the US with his Fiancé and their cat, snake, and dog. He has been actively on the medicine path for the past 10 years, and has been exploring alternative spiritualities and modalities since he was a little boy. Magic and mystery, the structure of reality and consciousness, and how humanity weaves together with this creation, are all depths he has been swimming in since he first had the thought to explore this world we have all been brought into. Mathew is a born seeker of the mystical, magical, and sacred experience of life.
Over the course of his journey on the medicine path he has worked with the Abuelita de la Selva, and her ceremonial medicine ways, including communing with the plants in the form of dietas with the Shapibo. He has also spent time walking the Red Road, participating and supporting sweatlodge and all night teepee services. Mathew is a reiki practitioner and ceremonial fire tender, as well as an altar creator and prayer facilitator. He is the cofounder and co-creator of the podcast Sacred Technology: Medicine Path, Prayer, and Beauty Way Consciousness.
Mathew's deepest prayer in this life is that all those that weave with him are empowered and supported to live the life they were born to live and that they can bring the medicine, gifts, and blessings to this creation that they are here to bring. He carries a conjoining prayer that this process of life can be as gentle and full of grace and ease as possible while still being as potent, powerful, and intense as it needs to be.
When Mathew is taking a break from sitting in front of or behind the altar you can find him going on hikes and walks with his Beloved and the dog, dancing, singing, and exploring the bounty of the world through responsible wildcrafting, rockhounding, and other resource gathering experiences. He loves to make medicines and great food from the plants that he gathers while wildcrafting and from the garden. Sometimes you will find him in his creative mode, writing, building land altars, and/or creating art. He can even occasionally be seen going on adventures to local festivals, and/or to special places and sacred sites around the world.
